Arthur’s Experience

Arthur had a couple of cracked molars that didn’t bother him until they became infected a week before his mom had scheduled an appointment for them to be removed during a cleaning with her vet. In need of immediate treatment, Arthur and his mom found Dr. Kelly’s, made an appointment and had his teeth extracted, giving Arthur needed relief. For Arthur’s mom, it was “one of the best experiences” she’s had with a vet.

“They did a great job. I did look at his mouth right after and every day. He healed perfectly.”
– Arthur’s mom, Lisa.

Warning Signs of Dental Disease

Pets need dental care to live a long and healthy life. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society 80% of dogs and 70% of cats by the age 3 show signs of periodontal disease, which is one of the most common conditions seen in pets today. The problem begins when plaque and tartar are allowed to build up on your pet’s teeth. If your pet is exhibiting any of these signs, they may have serious periodontal disease.

  • Bad breath – one of the first signs of dental disease
  • A yellowish-brown crust of plaque on the teeth near the gum line
  • Visible pus or discharge
  • Red and swollen gums
  • Pain or bleeding when your pet eats or when the mouth or gums are touched
  • Decreased appetite or difficulty eating
  • Drooling
  • Loose or missing teeth
  • Pawing at the mouth

We recently took our 5lb shorkie "birdee" in for her 6 mo spay appt... The Mesa location was very convenient for us coming from up north... Everyone was so kind and very informative, which made it easier to leave her... we knew she was in good hands 🙌 The clinic was very clean and smelt good!! I would highly recommend anyone who is considering using Dr. Kelly's for their pet surgery to definitely use them!!! Thanks again for taking such good care of our birdee girl 🩷

I contacted Dr Kelly’s about removing a couple of masses from my dog. I was so surprised by the affordability compared to my vet! The staff is very welcoming! Great care for a great price!

I've taken 3 dogs to be fixed here, and I won't trust anyone but them with my pups!
